About this product

The MOC3063 is an optically isolated triac driver with a zero-crossing detector. It lets a low-voltage microcontroller switch a triac on AC loads while keeping the control circuit electrically isolated from mains. The zero-crossing circuit turns the triac on near the AC voltage zero point, which reduces switching noise. It is commonly used to control lamps, fans and heaters.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of MOC3063 Zero-Crossing Triac Driver Optoisolator, 6-Pin DIP in Egypt?

MOC3063 Zero-Crossing Triac Driver Optoisolator, 6-Pin DIP currently costs between 10 and 17 EGP across 3 offers in Egypt.

Where can I buy MOC3063 Zero-Crossing Triac Driver Optoisolator, 6-Pin DIP in Egypt?

MOC3063 Zero-Crossing Triac Driver Optoisolator, 6-Pin DIP is available from RAM Electronics, Ekostra, and Circuits Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.

Can the MOC3063 switch mains directly?

No. Its output is a triac driver, so it drives the gate of an external power triac, which then switches the AC load.

How do I wire the LED input?

Pins 1 and 2 are the LED anode and cathode. Connect a series resistor sized from your microcontroller voltage and the LED current given in the datasheet, then drive it from a GPIO pin.
