About this product
A 6-pin SMD optocoupler with a triac output and zero-crossing detection. It isolates a low-voltage microcontroller from triac circuits on AC mains, and its zero-crossing switching reduces electrical noise. It is typically used to drive an external triac for switching AC loads such as heaters, fans and lamps.

Frequently asked questions
What is the price of MOC3041 6-Pin SMD Zero-Cross Triac Driver Optocoupler in Egypt?
MOC3041 6-Pin SMD Zero-Cross Triac Driver Optocoupler currently costs 51.3 EGP in Egypt.
Where can I buy MOC3041 6-Pin SMD Zero-Cross Triac Driver Optocoupler in Egypt?
MOC3041 6-Pin SMD Zero-Cross Triac Driver Optocoupler is available from UGE. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
How do I drive the LED side from a microcontroller?
Connect the microcontroller GPIO through a series resistor to the input LED anode, and return the cathode to GND. Size the resistor so the LED current is about 15 mA, using the 1.3 V forward voltage. Keep the mains side fully isolated from the low-voltage side.
Can it switch 230 V loads directly?
The output is rated for 400 V and 1 A peak, but as a triac driver it is normally used to trigger an external power triac that carries the load current. Check the load current and the datasheet ratings, and use proper enclosure and insulation for any mains circuit.
