About this product
Seven-channel NPN Darlington transistor array IC with clamp diodes on each output, used to drive relays, stepper motors, LED lamps and other high-voltage or high-current loads from low-power logic signals. Available here in a 16-pin SMD package. Each channel is rated for up to 500 mA, and channels can be paralleled for higher current.

Frequently asked questions
How do I drive a relay or stepper motor with it?
Connect the microcontroller output to an input pin, place the load between the positive supply and the matching output pin, and connect the COM pin to the positive supply of the inductive load so the built-in clamp diodes work.
Can it be driven from a 3.3 V microcontroller?
The ULN2003A is designed for 5 V TTL and CMOS logic inputs. With a 3.3 V controller, confirm the input high-level threshold in the datasheet before relying on it.
