Frequently asked questions
What is the price of ULN2803A 8-Channel Darlington Transistor Array SMD in Egypt?
ULN2803A 8-Channel Darlington Transistor Array SMD currently costs 20 EGP in Egypt.
Where can I buy ULN2803A 8-Channel Darlington Transistor Array SMD in Egypt?
ULN2803A 8-Channel Darlington Transistor Array SMD is available from UGE. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
How do I drive a relay from an Arduino pin with this IC?
Connect the Arduino pin to one input channel, connect the matching output to one side of the relay coil, and connect the other side of the coil to the positive supply. The COM pin should go to the coil supply positive. Keep the total current of all active channels within the package limits.
Do I need an external flyback diode for relay coils?
Usually no. The ULN2803A includes internal clamp diodes on each output that protect against inductive voltage spikes from relay coils, solenoids and motors, provided the COM pin is connected to the load supply.
