About this product
NTC 3950 100K is a negative temperature coefficient thermistor, meaning its resistance decreases as temperature rises. It has a nominal resistance of 100 kOhm at 25 °C and 1% accuracy, housed in a 1.25 mm x 2.0 mm glass bead with high-temperature PTFE-insulated wires. It is used for measuring and monitoring temperature in electronics and embedded projects.

Frequently asked questions
How do I read it with a microcontroller?
Build a voltage divider by connecting a fixed 100 kOhm resistor from the supply to the ADC pin, with the thermistor from that pin to ground. Convert the measured voltage to resistance and then to temperature using the Beta equation or a lookup table.
Does the 1% accuracy hold across the whole temperature range?
The 1% tolerance refers to the resistance at 25 °C. The listing does not provide a full resistance-temperature table, so for better accuracy across the range use the Beta equation and calibrate against a reference thermometer.
