About this product
IR2011 is a high-speed power MOSFET driver with independent high-side and low-side output channels in a DIP-8 package. Its floating high-side channel can drive an N-channel MOSFET operating up to 200 V, and its logic inputs accept 3.0 V and standard CMOS or LSTTL signals. It is commonly used in half-bridge, inverter and motor-driver circuits.

Frequently asked questions
How do I power the high-side channel?
The high-side channel floats, so it is normally powered by a bootstrap circuit (a diode and capacitor from VCC to the high-side supply pin). Use the component values and layout guidance in the IR2011 datasheet.
Can I drive it from a 3.3 V microcontroller?
Yes. The listing states the logic inputs are compatible with 3.0 V logic and standard CMOS or LSTTL outputs, so a 3.3 V or 5 V microcontroller can drive them directly.
