About this product
The AS5600 module uses a magnetic angle sensor to measure the rotation angle of a diametrically magnetized magnet placed above the chip. It communicates over I2C and is used for position feedback in motors, knobs, robotic joints and rotary measurement projects.

Frequently asked questions
What kind of magnet does the AS5600 need?
It needs a diametrically magnetized magnet, meaning the poles are on the flat faces, centered above the chip. Keep the magnet's air gap and alignment within the range given in the AS5600 datasheet.
Can two AS5600 sensors share the same I2C bus?
The AS5600 has a fixed I2C address of 0x36, so two sensors on the same bus would conflict. Use separate I2C buses or an I2C address-translation solution for multiple sensors.
