Frequently asked questions
What is the price of YT06-OP Incremental Rotary Encoder 600 PPR, PNP, 5-24 VDC in Egypt?
YT06-OP Incremental Rotary Encoder 600 PPR, PNP, 5-24 VDC currently costs 650 EGP in Egypt.
Where can I buy YT06-OP Incremental Rotary Encoder 600 PPR, PNP, 5-24 VDC in Egypt?
YT06-OP Incremental Rotary Encoder 600 PPR, PNP, 5-24 VDC is available from Future Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
How do I get direction and position from this encoder?
Read channels A and B with interrupt-capable pins. The phase relation between A and B gives the direction, and decoding both edges of both channels (x4) gives 2400 counts per revolution for a 600 PPR encoder.
Can it connect directly to a 3.3 V microcontroller?
Be careful. PNP outputs swing close to the supply voltage, which can be 5 to 24 V. Use a voltage divider or a level shifter before connecting the outputs to a 3.3 V input.
