About this product

A non-contact magnetic rotary position sensor that measures the angle of a small ring magnet with 12-bit resolution, which gives 4096 positions per revolution. It can replace a mechanical potentiometer or encoder with no rotation limit, which suits robot arms, pan-tilt heads and motor position feedback. It outputs over I2C or PWM.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of AS5600 12-Bit Magnetic Rotary Encoder Module with Ring Magnet in Egypt?

AS5600 12-Bit Magnetic Rotary Encoder Module with Ring Magnet currently costs 110 EGP in Egypt.

Where can I buy AS5600 12-Bit Magnetic Rotary Encoder Module with Ring Magnet in Egypt?

AS5600 12-Bit Magnetic Rotary Encoder Module with Ring Magnet is available from Future Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.

How should I position the magnet?

Center the ring magnet on the rotation axis directly above the chip, at the air gap given in the AS5600 datasheet. Misalignment or the wrong gap causes angle errors, so mount the magnet on the shaft before fixing the sensor.

What is the I2C address of the AS5600?

The AS5600 uses a fixed I2C address of 0x36. Use an I2C scanner to confirm it is detected, then read the angle registers from your code.
