About this product

The AS5600 is a contactless magnetic rotary position sensor that measures the angle of a diametrically magnetized magnet over a full 0–360° range at 12-bit resolution. It reports the angle over I²C and also provides analog and PWM outputs. It is used for knob and dial position, motor shaft feedback, joysticks and angle measurement in robotics and maker projects.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of AS5600 12-Bit Programmable Contactless Magnetic Encoder SOP8 in Egypt?

AS5600 12-Bit Programmable Contactless Magnetic Encoder SOP8 currently costs between 175 and 350 EGP across 2 offers in Egypt.

Where can I buy AS5600 12-Bit Programmable Contactless Magnetic Encoder SOP8 in Egypt?

AS5600 12-Bit Programmable Contactless Magnetic Encoder SOP8 is available from UGE and Microohm. Compare the offers above to find the best price.

Which magnet do I need with the AS5600?

The AS5600 needs a diametrically magnetized magnet, meaning its poles are across the diameter, mounted on the rotating shaft and centered above the chip. A small disc magnet placed at the recommended distance from the package works well.

How do I connect it to an Arduino or ESP32?

Connect VCC, GND, SDA and SCL. The default I²C address is 0x36. Boards such as ESP32 work at 3.3 V logic, so confirm that the module's I²C voltage matches your board's logic level before connecting.
