Frequently asked questions
Can this module measure DC current?
No. A current transformer only responds to changing AC current, so it cannot measure DC current.
How do I connect the output to an Arduino or ESP32?
CT outputs usually need a burden resistor and a bias circuit so the ADC only sees positive voltages. Check the board labels and datasheet, and never connect mains wiring directly to the microcontroller.
