About this product
An ACS712 Hall-effect current sensor module that measures AC or DC current up to 20 A and outputs an analog voltage at 100 mV per ampere. It is electrically isolated from the measured circuit, so it suits motor, battery and power monitoring projects read by a microcontroller ADC.

Frequently asked questions
What is the price of ACS712 20A Current Sensor Module in Egypt?
ACS712 20A Current Sensor Module currently costs 90 EGP in Egypt.
Where can I buy ACS712 20A Current Sensor Module in Egypt?
ACS712 20A Current Sensor Module is available from Microohm. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
How do I connect the ACS712 module?
Place the module in series with the load so the current passes through its terminals. Connect the supply, ground and analog output to your microcontroller's ADC pin. Keep the supply between 4.5 V and 5.5 V.
Can it measure AC current as well as DC?
Yes. As a Hall-effect sensor, the ACS712 responds to both AC and DC current. At zero current the output sits near half the supply voltage, so a 5 V supply gives about 2.5 V at zero amps, and each ampere shifts the output by 100 mV.
