About this product

A breakout module built around the ACS712 Hall-effect linear current sensor, measuring AC and DC current up to 30 A. It outputs an analog voltage that changes linearly with the sensed current, which a microcontroller ADC can read. It is commonly used to monitor motor, battery and load current and requires a 5 V supply.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of ACS712-30A Current Sensor Module 30A AC/DC Hall Effect in Egypt?

ACS712-30A Current Sensor Module 30A AC/DC Hall Effect currently costs between 80 and 100 EGP across 3 offers in Egypt.

Where can I buy ACS712-30A Current Sensor Module 30A AC/DC Hall Effect in Egypt?

ACS712-30A Current Sensor Module 30A AC/DC Hall Effect is available from Makers Electronics, Microohm, and Ekostra. Compare the offers above to find the best price.

How do I read the current with an Arduino?

Connect OUT to an analog input such as A0 on an Uno. Convert the ADC reading to voltage, subtract the zero-current offset (about 2.5 V), and divide by 0.066 V per amp to get the current.

Can I connect it directly to an ESP32?

Not directly at higher currents. The ESP32 ADC accepts up to 3.3 V, while the sensor output rises above that at larger currents. Use a voltage divider or level shifter on the output line.
