About this product
A 57 mm board carrying 8 individually addressable RGB LEDs, each with an integrated WS2812 5050 driver. One microcontroller pin is enough to control the whole chain, which makes it a good fit for Arduino and other MCU projects that need addressable lighting. It runs from 4 V to 7 V, with up to 20 mA per LED.

Frequently asked questions
How do I connect it to an Arduino?
Connect the module's 5 V (or 4 V to 7 V supply) and GND to a suitable power source, and connect the data input to one digital pin on the Arduino. The Arduino GND must be common with the module's GND. Libraries such as FastLED or Adafruit NeoPixel can drive the chain.
Can the 8 LEDs run at full brightness from a small power source?
At full brightness the chain can draw roughly 160 mA, so the power source must supply that current. Lowering the brightness in code reduces the current draw proportionally.
