About this product
A contactless infrared temperature sensor module built around the MLX90614-BAA, which measures ambient and object temperature without touching the target. It communicates over a serial interface at 9600 bps by default or 115200 bps, and runs from a 3 to 5 V supply. It suits microcontroller projects that need non-contact temperature readings at close range.

Frequently asked questions
How do I wire it to an Arduino or ESP32?
Power the module from a 3 to 5 V supply with a common ground, then connect its serial TX and RX lines to a UART on the board, crossing TX to RX. Set the baud rate to match the module's configuration.
What is the measuring distance?
The listing gives a close-range measuring distance of 1 to 2 cm, so the module should be placed close to the target surface.
