How do I wire the DHT22 to a microcontroller?
Connect VCC to 3.5 to 5.5 V, GND to ground, and the data pin to a digital I/O pin. The data line needs a pull-up resistor of about 4.7 kΩ to 10 kΩ to VCC. Many breakout modules include this resistor already.
How often can I read the sensor?
Wait at least 2 seconds between readings. The DHT22 is a slow sensor and returns invalid data if it is queried too frequently.
