Frequently asked questions
What is the price of MAX1487CPA+ RS-485/RS-422 Half-Duplex Transceiver IC in Egypt?
MAX1487CPA+ RS-485/RS-422 Half-Duplex Transceiver IC currently costs 5 EGP in Egypt.
Where can I buy MAX1487CPA+ RS-485/RS-422 Half-Duplex Transceiver IC in Egypt?
MAX1487CPA+ RS-485/RS-422 Half-Duplex Transceiver IC is available from Makers Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
How do I control the transmit and receive direction?
The transceiver has a driver enable (DE) pin and an active-low receiver enable (RE) pin. Drive DE high to transmit and low to receive, and hold RE low to enable the receiver. Connect both to GPIO pins on your microcontroller.
Can it work with a 3.3 V microcontroller?
The part is specified for a single 5 V supply. If your microcontroller runs at 3.3 V, power the transceiver from 5 V and check the logic levels on the receiver output before connecting it to a 3.3 V input.
