About this product
The LM350T is a three-terminal adjustable positive voltage regulator in a TO-220 package, providing an output from 1.25 V to 33 V at up to 3 A. It needs only two external resistors to set the voltage and includes current limiting, thermal shutdown and safe-area protection for power supply projects.

Frequently asked questions
How do I set the output voltage?
Use two resistors: R1 between OUT and ADJ, and R2 between ADJ and GND. The output is approximately Vout = 1.25 V × (1 + R2/R1). Check the datasheet for the full formula, including the adjust-pin current error.
How much input voltage is safe?
The maximum input-to-output difference is 35 V, with 15 V recommended. Keep the input within that difference above the output for reliable operation, and use a heatsink at higher currents.
