Frequently asked questions
Can this regulator step up the voltage?
No. It is a step-down (buck) regulator only. The input voltage must be at least 1.5V higher than the desired output.
How is the output voltage set on the ADJ version?
Output is set by an external resistor divider on the feedback pin, using Vout = 1.23V x (1 + R2/R1). The design also needs an external inductor, catch diode and capacitors.
