Frequently asked questions
What is the price of GY-85 9-DOF IMU Module (ADXL345, ITG3200, HMC5883L) in Egypt?
GY-85 9-DOF IMU Module (ADXL345, ITG3200, HMC5883L) currently costs 240 EGP in Egypt.
Where can I buy GY-85 9-DOF IMU Module (ADXL345, ITG3200, HMC5883L) in Egypt?
GY-85 9-DOF IMU Module (ADXL345, ITG3200, HMC5883L) is available from Future Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
How do I wire the GY-85 to an Arduino?
Connect VCC and GND for power, SDA to the I2C data pin and SCL to the I2C clock pin. On Uno-class boards these are A4 (SDA) and A5 (SCL). Check the silkscreen on your board for its supply range before connecting power.
Do the three sensors share one I2C address?
No. Each sensor has its own I2C address (ADXL345 is typically 0x53, ITG-3200 is 0x68 and HMC5883L is 0x1E), so all three can share the same bus. Run an I2C scanner sketch to confirm they are detected.
