How do I connect the GBU610 bridge?
Connect the two AC pins to the AC source and take the DC output from the + and - pins. Make sure the output filter capacitor is rated above the peak DC voltage of your supply.
Does it need a heatsink?
At low currents it may operate without one, but for loads approaching the 6 A rating mount it on a heatsink to keep the junction temperature within limits.
