About this product
An external DC current shunt resistor rated for 20A, with a 75mV output at full scale. It is placed in series with the load so a 75mV DC ammeter or panel meter can read the current from the voltage drop across it. Used in DC power supplies, battery systems and motor circuits.

Frequently asked questions
How do I connect it to measure current?
Wire the shunt in series with the load so all the current flows through it. Connect the two leads of the 75mV meter to the shunt's measuring terminals, so the meter reads the small voltage drop across it.
Can I use it with any ammeter?
It is designed for a 75mV full-scale meter. A meter scaled for a different shunt voltage will show wrong readings unless its scale is set for this shunt. Do not exceed the 20A rating.
