About this product
A breakout module built around the ACS712 Hall-effect current sensor, rated for 5 A. It outputs an analog voltage proportional to the current flowing through its input terminals and isolates the measured current path from the output. It is used for monitoring motor, battery and load current in projects built with Arduino, ESP32 or other microcontrollers.

Frequently asked questions
What is the price of ACS712 5A Current Sensor Module (Hall-Effect) in Egypt?
ACS712 5A Current Sensor Module (Hall-Effect) currently costs between 80 and 140 EGP across 4 offers in Egypt.
Where can I buy ACS712 5A Current Sensor Module (Hall-Effect) in Egypt?
ACS712 5A Current Sensor Module (Hall-Effect) is available from Makers Electronics, Microohm, Ekostra, and Circuits Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
How do I connect this module to an Arduino?
Connect VCC to 5V and GND to GND, then connect OUT to an analog input such as A0. The load current must pass through the IP+ and IP- terminals in series with the load. At zero current the output sits near half the supply voltage (about 2.5 V at 5 V), so subtract that offset and divide by 0.1 V/A to get the current.
Can it measure AC current as well as DC current?
Yes. The ACS712 Hall sensor responds to both AC and DC current within its 5 A range. For AC readings, sample the output over several cycles and calculate the RMS value in your code.
