Frequently asked questions
What is the price of EC11 Rotary Encoder with Push Button Switch, 5 Pin, 13 mm D-Shaft, Black in Egypt?
EC11 Rotary Encoder with Push Button Switch, 5 Pin, 13 mm D-Shaft, Black currently costs 24 EGP in Egypt.
Where can I buy EC11 Rotary Encoder with Push Button Switch, 5 Pin, 13 mm D-Shaft, Black in Egypt?
EC11 Rotary Encoder with Push Button Switch, 5 Pin, 13 mm D-Shaft, Black is available from Makers Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
How do I wire an EC11 encoder to an Arduino?
Connect the A and B outputs to two digital pins set as INPUT_PULLUP, connect the common pin to GND, and wire the two push-button pins to a third digital input and GND. Read the A/B sequence in code to determine rotation direction.
Does the EC11 need external pull-up resistors?
Usually not when using the internal pull-up of the microcontroller. The encoder contacts pull the line to ground when active, so enabling INPUT_PULLUP is sufficient for most boards. Add a small capacitor for debouncing if you notice noisy readings.
