How do I wire the W25Q64 to an Arduino or ESP32?
Connect CS, CLK, DI (MOSI) and DO (MISO) to the MCU's SPI pins, along with VCC and GND. The WP and HOLD pins are normally tied high when their functions are not used.
Can I power it from a 5 V board?
The memory is rated for 2.7 V to 3.6 V, so do not connect it directly to a 5 V supply or 5 V logic lines. Use a 3.3 V supply and a logic level shifter where the MCU works at 5 V.
