About this product
The VEML6070 is an ultraviolet light sensor with an I2C interface, used to measure UV intensity in outdoor and UV monitoring projects. It has an 8-bit command register for setting operation and reading data, plus a programmable threshold alarm based on the UV index. Suitable for Arduino and ESP32 projects.

Frequently asked questions
How do I wire the VEML6070 to an Arduino?
Connect VCC to the 3.3 V or 5 V supply that suits your board, GND to GND, and SDA and SCL to the board's I2C pins. The sensor responds at I2C addresses 0x38 (write) and 0x39 (read), so it normally does not conflict with other I2C devices.
How is the UV index alarm used?
The alarm threshold is programmed through the command register over I2C. Your code can then react when the measured UV level crosses the limit you set, which is useful for sun-exposure warning projects.
