About this product

The UT-2201 converts RS-232 signals into balanced RS-485 differential signals, extending RS-232 communication distance to about 1.2 km. It switches transmit and receive direction automatically, so no RTS/DTR handshake or software changes are needed in half-duplex mode. It supports data rates up to 115.2 kbps for point-to-point and multipoint networks.
