Frequently asked questions
What is the price of u-blox NEO-7M GPS Module HW-542B with UART Interface in Egypt?
u-blox NEO-7M GPS Module HW-542B with UART Interface currently costs 450 EGP in Egypt.
Where can I buy u-blox NEO-7M GPS Module HW-542B with UART Interface in Egypt?
u-blox NEO-7M GPS Module HW-542B with UART Interface is available from Makers Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
How do I wire it to an Arduino?
Connect VCC and GND, then the module's TX pin to an Arduino RX pin and, if you need to send configuration commands, its RX pin to an Arduino TX pin. Check the board's labeled supply voltage before powering it. On an Arduino UNO, use SoftwareSerial because the hardware serial port is used by USB.
Why does the module take time to get a position?
A GNSS receiver needs a clear view of the sky and time to receive satellite signals. The first position fix after power-up (cold start) can take several minutes, and indoor use usually prevents a fix.
