Frequently asked questions
How do I enable UART mode?
According to the listing, UART mode is selected by setting jumper caps rather than soldering, on boards such as MKS GEN_L V2.0, SKR 1.3/1.4 and MKS sGen_L. Follow the jumper diagram of your module to set the mode.
How do I set the motor current?
Set the current at or below your motor's rated current. The default is 1.25 A and the maximum is 2.0 A. Adjust it using the driver's reference voltage (Vref) as described in the TMC2225 datasheet.
