About this product
A display and key module built around the TM1638 driver chip, with 8 seven-segment digits, 8 LEDs and 8 keys on one board. The TM1638 handles display and key scanning, so a microcontroller needs only three I/O pins. Used for counters, clocks and simple user interfaces on AVR and Arduino boards.

Frequently asked questions
Which pins do I connect to the microcontroller?
The module uses a three-wire interface: STB (strobe), CLK (clock) and DIO (data), plus VCC and GND. Connect these to three digital pins and set them in your code.
Do I need a special library?
TM1638 libraries are available for the Arduino environment and handle the protocol for display and key scanning. You can also write the register commands directly.
