Frequently asked questions
What is the price of SN65HVD230 3.3V High-Speed CAN Transceiver SOIC-8 in Egypt?
SN65HVD230 3.3V High-Speed CAN Transceiver SOIC-8 currently costs 137 EGP in Egypt.
Where can I buy SN65HVD230 3.3V High-Speed CAN Transceiver SOIC-8 in Egypt?
SN65HVD230 3.3V High-Speed CAN Transceiver SOIC-8 is available from UGE. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
What do I connect to the microcontroller?
TXD and RXD connect to a CAN protocol controller, which can be a microcontroller with a built-in CAN peripheral or an external controller such as the MCP2515. CANH and CANL connect to the bus. Tie the slope-control (RS) pin to ground for high-speed operation, as in the datasheet.
Do I need bus termination?
Yes. A CAN bus is normally terminated with 120 Ω at each end, as specified by ISO-11898, to prevent signal reflections. Place the terminators at the two physical ends of the bus, not at every node.
