About this product
SM712 is an asymmetrical TVS diode array from Littelfuse (SPA Diodes series), designed to protect RS-485 bus lines with working voltages from -7 V to +12 V. It absorbs ESD, fast transients and lightning-induced surges, and is rated for 600 W peak pulse power. It is used on the RS-485 A and B lines near the connector.
