About this product
The SG3526 is a high-performance fixed-frequency pulse width modulator IC for switching regulators and power control circuits. It integrates a temperature-compensated reference, sawtooth oscillator, error amplifier and two high-current totem-pole outputs for driving power FET gates. It includes soft start, undervoltage lockout, digital current limiting and adjustable dead time.

Frequently asked questions
Can the SG3526 drive power MOSFETs directly?
Its two totem-pole outputs are designed to drive the gate capacitance of power FETs at high speed, so it can drive MOSFETs directly in many designs. Confirm gate charge and drive requirements for your specific MOSFET.
How is the switching frequency set?
The internal sawtooth oscillator's frequency is set by external timing components, typically an RC network, as described in the SG3526 datasheet.
