Frequently asked questions
What is the price of SCT-013 100A Split-Core Current Transformer (50mA / 1V Output) in Egypt?
SCT-013 100A Split-Core Current Transformer (50mA / 1V Output) currently costs between 350 and 400 EGP across 2 offers in Egypt.
Where can I buy SCT-013 100A Split-Core Current Transformer (50mA / 1V Output) in Egypt?
SCT-013 100A Split-Core Current Transformer (50mA / 1V Output) is available from RAM Electronics and Makers Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
How do I connect the SCT-013 to a microcontroller?
Clamp it around one live conductor only, never around both live and neutral. For the 50mA current-output version, a burden resistor is needed to convert the output current into a voltage that an ADC pin can read. The 1V version gives a voltage output and can be read directly, within the ADC range.
Can it measure DC current?
No. The SCT-013 is a current transformer and works with alternating current only. For DC current, use a Hall-effect sensor instead.
