About this product
A fully sealed single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relay with five PCB-mount pins and a 6 V DC coil. It switches high-voltage or high-current loads, with contacts rated up to 10 A at 250 VAC or 30 VDC. It is useful for switching loads from a low-voltage control circuit such as a microcontroller project.

Frequently asked questions
Can an Arduino pin drive this relay directly?
No. The coil needs a 6 V DC supply and a microcontroller pin cannot supply the coil current. Drive the coil through an NPN transistor or MOSFET from a separate 6 V supply, and fit a flyback diode across the coil.
What do COM, NO and NC mean?
COM is the common contact. NO (normally open) connects to COM only when the coil is energised, while NC (normally closed) stays connected to COM when the coil is off.
