Frequently asked questions
What do I connect to the encoder output?
Connect the encoder output to the data input of an RF or IR transmitter module. The transmitter then sends the coded waveform to a matching receiver and decoder.
Can I use it with any decoder?
Use it with a decoder designed for the PT2262 family, such as the PT2272, and set the address pins identically on both chips. Mismatched addresses will not produce a valid output.
