About this product
A compact buck (step-down) converter module built around the MP1584 IC. It accepts 4.5 V to 28 V input and gives an adjustable output from 0.8 V to 20 V through an on-board potentiometer, with up to 3 A maximum output current. It is commonly used to power 5 V or 12 V electronics from a higher-voltage battery or adapter.

How do I set the output voltage?
Connect the input supply, keep the load disconnected, and turn the potentiometer while measuring the output with a multimeter. Connect your load only after the output shows the voltage you need.
Can I use it to step the voltage up?
No. The MP1584 is a buck (step-down) converter, so the output must be lower than the input. For example, a 5 V output from a single 3.7 V Li-ion cell needs a boost converter.
