Frequently asked questions
How do I wire the MD9291 to an Arduino or ESP32?
Power the module from 3.3V to 5.5V and GND, then connect its TX and RX to the microcontroller's UART pins, crossing TX to RX. Match the logic level to your board (ESP32 uses 3.3V).
What baud rate should I use?
The factory default is 9600 baud, and the module supports speeds from 9600 up to 115200. Set your microcontroller to the same baud rate as the module.
