About this product
A breakout module built around the MCP4921E, a single-channel 12-bit digital-to-analog converter from Microchip controlled over SPI. It lets a microcontroller such as an Arduino or ESP32 generate a precise analog voltage from an external reference, which suits signal generation, bias control and sensor calibration experiments.

Frequently asked questions
How do I connect the MCP4921E module to an Arduino or ESP32?
Connect VDD and VSS to power and ground, connect SCK and SDI (MOSI) to the board's SPI pins, and connect CS to any free GPIO. Feed a stable reference voltage to VREF; the analog output appears on VOUT. Check the module silkscreen, since pin labels can differ between boards.
What output voltage can the module produce?
The output is roughly VREF multiplied by the code divided by 4096, doubled if the 2x gain setting is used. Keep the reference and output within the supply voltage range.
