About this product
The MCP4728 is a quad-channel, 12-bit voltage-output digital-to-analog converter with an I2C interface. Its on-chip EEPROM keeps the DAC codes, configuration and I2C address across power cycles, so outputs can be available immediately after power-up. It provides four buffered voltage outputs for setting reference, bias or control voltages from a microcontroller.

Frequently asked questions
How do I wire the MCP4728 to a microcontroller?
Connect SDA and SCL to the microcontroller's I2C pins, add pull-up resistors on both lines, and connect VDD and GND within the 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply range.
Can it be used with a 3.3 V board such as an ESP32?
Yes. The supply range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V includes 3.3 V, so it can run from a 3.3 V supply and communicate with 3.3 V I2C logic.
