About this product
50 kg strain gauge load cell that converts an applied force into a small differential voltage through a Wheatstone bridge. It is used in digital scales, force measurement and weighing projects, and is usually read through a 24-bit amplifier such as the HX711.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an amplifier to read a load cell?
Yes. The bridge output is only a few millivolts, so it needs an amplifier such as the HX711 before a microcontroller can read it. Arduino and ESP32 projects commonly use a dedicated HX711 library.
How are the load cell wires connected?
A standard load cell has four wires: excitation positive and negative, and signal positive and negative (E+, E-, A+, A-). Wire colours vary between manufacturers, so confirm the pinout in the datasheet before connecting.
