About this product
The LM35 is a factory-calibrated analog temperature sensor in a 3-pin TO-92 package. Its output voltage rises linearly at 10mV per degree Celsius, so a microcontroller ADC can convert the reading to temperature with simple math and no lookup tables. Used in weather stations, battery monitoring, and general temperature logging projects.

Frequently asked questions
How do I read the temperature with an Arduino?
Connect the Vout pin to an analog input such as A0 and read it with analogRead(). With a 5V reference and a 10-bit ADC, convert the raw value to temperature using: temperature (°C) = (raw × 5.0 / 1023) × 100.
What is the pinout of the TO-92 package?
With the flat face of the package toward you and the pins pointing down, the pins from left to right are +Vs (supply), Vout (analog output), and GND. Always confirm against the marking and datasheet before powering the sensor.
