Frequently asked questions

What is the price of KFGS-1-120-C1-11 L1M2R Strain Gauge 120Ω 1mm with 1m Lead Wire in Egypt?

KFGS-1-120-C1-11 L1M2R Strain Gauge 120Ω 1mm with 1m Lead Wire currently costs 2,300 EGP in Egypt.

Where can I buy KFGS-1-120-C1-11 L1M2R Strain Gauge 120Ω 1mm with 1m Lead Wire in Egypt?

KFGS-1-120-C1-11 L1M2R Strain Gauge 120Ω 1mm with 1m Lead Wire is available from Makers Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.

Is adhesive included with the strain gauge?

No. The listing states that the adhesive required for installation is not included and must be purchased separately. Choose an adhesive suited to your base material and follow the bonding procedure in the manufacturer's instructions.

How is the signal from a 120Ω strain gauge read?

The resistance change is very small, so the gauge is normally connected in a Wheatstone bridge and its output is amplified by an instrumentation or dedicated strain amplifier. The gage factor of 2.11 is used to convert the measured change into strain.
