About this product
The BF120-3AA is a 120 Ω foil strain gauge with a gauge factor of 2.0 ±1%, used to measure small deformations in metal parts. It is the sensing element in load cells and is used for force measurement, pressure sensing and structural monitoring. It operates from -20°C to +80°C and needs a Wheatstone bridge and an amplifier to produce a readable signal.

Frequently asked questions
What is the price of BF120-3AA Strain Gauge 120 Ohm, Gauge Factor 2.0 for Load Cells in Egypt?
BF120-3AA Strain Gauge 120 Ohm, Gauge Factor 2.0 for Load Cells currently costs 50 EGP in Egypt.
Where can I buy BF120-3AA Strain Gauge 120 Ohm, Gauge Factor 2.0 for Load Cells in Egypt?
BF120-3AA Strain Gauge 120 Ohm, Gauge Factor 2.0 for Load Cells is available from Ekostra. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
How do I read a strain gauge with an Arduino?
A strain gauge changes resistance by only a tiny amount, so it must be placed in a Wheatstone bridge. The millivolt output then needs an instrumentation amplifier, or a 24-bit ADC designed for bridge sensors such as the HX711.
Can I attach it directly to a metal part?
It must be bonded to a clean, prepared surface using a suitable strain-gauge adhesive. Check the adhesive recommendation for the exact gauge before mounting, since poor bonding gives unreliable readings.
