Frequently asked questions

What I2C address does it use?

The sensor's default I2C address is 0x69, and the AD_SELECT pin can change it to 0x68. Confirm the pinout on your module and make sure your board's logic level matches the module before connecting.

Is it a thermal camera?

It is a low-resolution sensor that gives an 8x8 grid of temperatures, not a photo image. It detects warm objects and temperature patterns rather than fine details, so it suits presence detection and heat mapping more than imaging.
