Can I drive this MOSFET directly from an Arduino pin?
It is not recommended. This is a standard-level MOSFET specified at a higher gate voltage, so a 5 V microcontroller pin may not fully turn it on. Use a gate driver or a logic-level MOSFET instead.
How do I identify the pins on the D2PAK package?
The pins are Gate, Drain and Source. The large metal tab is connected to the drain. Confirm the exact pin order in the datasheet before soldering.
