About this product
An external DC current shunt resistor rated for 10A, with a 75mV output at full scale. It is placed in series with the load so a 75mV DC ammeter or panel meter can read the current from the voltage drop across it. Suited to DC power supplies, battery systems and small motor circuits.

Frequently asked questions
How do I connect it to measure current?
Wire the shunt in series with the load so all the current flows through it. Connect the two leads of the 75mV meter to the shunt's measuring terminals, so the meter reads the small voltage drop across it.
What happens if the current goes above 10A?
The shunt is rated for 10A, so do not exceed that current. For loads above 10A, use the 20A version of the same FL-2 shunt, with a meter scaled for 75mV.
