About this product
A stepper motor driver module based on the DRV8825 chip, with a pinout almost identical to the A4988 so it can replace it in many designs. It supports micro-stepping down to 1/32 step, an adjustable current limit, and overcurrent and overtemperature protection. It runs from 8.2 to 45 V and is controlled with simple step and direction signals.

Frequently asked questions
Can it replace an A4988 driver?
Its pinout is almost the same as the A4988, so it can often be used as a replacement. Check the pin layout and current setting for your specific board.
Does it need a heat sink?
At about 1.5 A per phase it can run without a heat sink or forced airflow. For higher current, up to 2.2 A, additional cooling is recommended.
