About this product
A DIY self-balancing robot kit built around an Arduino Uno, an MPU-6050 six-axis gyroscope and accelerometer, and an L298N dual H-bridge motor driver. It includes a holder for two 18650 lithium-ion cells, an on/off switch, and jumper wires. The robot stays upright by reading tilt from the IMU over I2C and driving its motors to correct it.

Frequently asked questions
How is the MPU-6050 connected to the Arduino?
The MPU-6050 uses the I2C bus. On the Arduino Uno, connect SDA to pin A4 and SCL to pin A5, then connect power and GND. The Arduino reads the tilt data from these two data lines.
Are the included batteries safe to use with the holder?
The holder takes two 18650 cells. The included cells are listed as used, so check their condition before use and charge them only with a suitable 18650 lithium-ion charger, which is not part of the kit contents.
