About this product
Digital heart rate sensor that uses reflective light detection to output real-time pulse signals, heart rate values and waveform data over a UART TTL serial interface. The host can read hardware and software versions, query or change the baud rate and output mode, and start or stop data transmission. Suited to fitness, wearable and learning prototypes.

Can I connect it directly to a 3.3 V board?
Check the module's operating voltage and TTL logic level in its datasheet before connecting it to a 3.3 V board such as ESP32. Use a level shifter if the output level does not match your board.
How do I start reading heart rate data?
Send the module's serial command to start transmission, then parse the returned frames on your microcontroller. The exact command set and frame format are defined in the vendor's protocol document.
